Computer Based Employment Training: a job-training computer course to train refugees and immigrants with skills they need in order to obtain sustainable employment opportunities. The course will include: basic computer skills training, resume writing, spreadsheet development, Internet job searching and posting, creating application and cover letters. Job search methods and tips will also be offered along with exposure to the US work culture and ethics.
Basic Computer Training: technology-based educational resource center located in southeast Seattle to provide East African refugees and immigrants with a safe, culturally sensitive environment where they can access a computer lab and learn about computers with the assistance of multi-lingual staff and volunteers.
