POSITION: Family Support Program Coordinator
POSITION SUPERVISOR: Program Manager
POSITION DEPARTMENT: Family Support and Community Outreach
POSITION STATUS: Full time (one year temporary)
POSITION DESCRIPTION: The family education and resource navigation program coordinator is a person who is responsible for coordinating the activities under this program. The position requires the ability to plan, coordinate and implement program activities. He/she needs to have excellent communication skills to communicate with the entire HOAS team, the families, and all stakeholders.
DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Assist with planning and coordination of programs and their activities
Monitor implementation of program policies and practices
Work to keep programs on schedule, within stated budgets and functioning smoothly
Support program growth and development as necessary
Coordinate program communications
Administer program related operations as well as community outreach
Ensure the program budget, including tracking billing, payments, and other financial transactions
Schedule and organize program-related meetings and events
Oversee the use of technology for program operations, such as video conferencing technology, presentation software and other communications technologies.
Create and maintain program records, reports, presentations, and proposals
Facilitate positive relations between the program team, the public, other departments within the organization, and all stakeholders.
Coordinate internal resources for the flow-less execution of the program.
Creates an atmosphere in which the target community feels comfortable in participating. Perform any additional assignments given by the immediate supervisor.
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
A minimum of 5 years of experience in working with kids.
AA or AS degree required.
Demonstrated ability to write successful grant proposals.
Detail-oriented, organized, deadline-driven.
Motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently with purpose and accuracy in a fast-paced.
High proficiency in all areas of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

Salary/Income: ($25 -$27)/hourly plus benefits.
