Social Services Program

Our Social Services department is focused in supporting immigrant and refugee communities by providing comprehensive, culturally responsive services. We assist individuals and families in navigating immigration processes while also addressing their social, economic, and community needs.

Naturalization

You may qualify for naturalization if you are:

  • at least 18 years old,

  • have been a permanent resident for at least five years (or three years if you are married to a U.S. citizen) and

  • meet all other eligibility requirements​

You may qualify for naturalization if you are:

  • at least 18 years old,

  • have been a permanent resident for at least five years (or three years if you are married to a U.S. citizen) and

  • meet all other eligibility requirements​

You may also qualify for naturalization based on military service, which has different requirements.

PRIME Program (Refugee Support Services)

The PRIME Program supports refugees and asylees in successfully adjusting to life in the United States. We provide ongoing guidance, resources, and case management to help individuals and families achieve stability, independence, and self-sufficiency.

Our services include: 

  • Support navigating U.S. systems and community resources

  • Life skills and self-sufficiency education

  • Individual and family support services

  • Assistance with housing, ESL enrollment, and employment applications

  • Case management and referrals

  • Support with utility assistance and rental assistance applications

You may qualify for PRIME if you are age 16 and older, residing in the United States (U.S.) for five (5) years or less, and have current or entry status of a:

  • Are 16 years or older

  • Have lived in the U.S. for 5 years or less

  • Hold one of the following immigration statuses:
            o Refugee or Asylee
            o Victim of human trafficking
            o Amerasian
            o Cuban/Haitian entrant
            o Iraqi or Afghan Special Immigrant (including eligible family members)
            o Afghan or Ukrainian Humanitarian Parolee

Immigration Legal Services

We provide assistance with:

  • Green card renewal and replacement (Form I-90)

  • Adjustment of status (green card application)

  • Travel documents (Advance Parole – Form I-131)

  • Employment authorization applications (work permits – Form I-765)
